The cinema was missing something in my concept.... some songs to cheared up the audience... to make us sing along....
The last musical that I saw was High School Musical 3 and it can't considered a great musical.... but the movie NINE, that will be released on January 29th, has a promisse to be as great as Moulin Rouge, Chicago, and the classics like, Grease, The Sound of Music, Footloose, Flash Dance, etc.
It has an awesome cast, with names like, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Fergie, Sofia Loren, Judie Dench, Daniel Day-Lewis, and many others that will make of this musical one of my favorites... and I LOVE MUSICALS.
Read the plot:
"Nine tells the story of Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis), a world famous film director as he confronts an epic mid-life crisis with both creative and personal problems. He must balance the many women of his life, including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), an American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), the whore from his youth (Fergie) and his mother (Sophia Loren)."
